Operation process of disc dryer:

(1) Basic configuration of disc continuous dryer process:

The wet material is uniformly fed into the top of the disc continuous dryer through a quantitative feeder, and the drying process is completed as it flows through the dryer. The dried material is discharged from the bottom of the dryer.    

(II) Process of disc continuous dryer with heat exchanger:

It is suitable for drying processes with high evaporation intensity. Based on the basic configuration, a finned heater is added, and a small flow of hot air is introduced into the dryer to absorb the water vapor emitted from the material during the drying process, preventing moisture condensation on the top of the dryer and in the exhaust pipe.    

(III) Process of disc continuous dryer equipped with hot air system:

It is suitable for drying processes with high evaporation intensity. Based on the basic configuration, it is equipped with a finned heater and an exhaust gas fan. By introducing hot air, the moisture emitted during the drying process is quickly carried away, further enhancing the heat transfer and drying process, and preventing moisture condensation in the exhaust duct at the top of the dryer.    

(IV) Process of adding a dust removal device to a disc continuous dryer:

It is suitable for drying materials that are toxic, harmful, and capable of polluting the environment, as well as materials that are prone to floating, such as pesticides, dyes, and their intermediates. Based on the basic configuration, a bag filter, finned heater, and induced draft fan are equipped to capture the trace amounts of particularly fine and light materials entrained in the exhaust gas, thus protecting the environment and reducing product loss.
