Basic process flow of disc dryer

Let me introduce these processes in detail below.
1. Normal pressure disc continuous drying process:
The wet material is evenly added to the top of the disc continuous dryer through the quantitative feeder. The drying process is completed when flowing through the dryer, and the dry material is discharged from the bottom of the dryer. If the amount of evaporated water is large, a fin heater and an exhaust draft fan can be added to take away the moisture that escapes during the drying process by introducing hot air to prevent moisture from condensing on the inner wall of the dryer barrel and the exhaust pipe. If the material easily pollutes the environment or floats easily, dust removal equipment can be configured to protect the environment and reduce product losses.
2. Sealed solvent recovery disk continuous drying process:
Suitable for drying processes that require solvent recovery and drying processes where moisture is flammable, explosive, and toxic substances that cannot be directly discharged into the atmosphere and must be recycled. For example, the moisture content is methanol, ethanol, petroleum ether, halogenated alkanes, acetone, formaldehyde, etc. This process requires the addition of a continuous lock for incoming and outgoing materials, a condenser, a solvent receiving tank and an induced draft fan. The moisture escaping from the dryer enters the solvent recovery condenser from the top of the dryer, condenses into solvent liquid under the cooling of the cooling medium, and enters the solvent recovery tank. The non-condensable gas is evacuated by the induced draft fan. The cooling medium is cooling water or frozen brine according to the characteristics of the solvent.
3. Drying process of vacuum plate continuous dryer:
Suitable for drying heat-sensitive materials with very low drying temperature requirements, such as medicines, vitamins, biological products, enzymes, etc. The wet materials are added in batches to the quantitative feeder that can withstand negative pressure, and the vacuum pump is turned on to make the disc continuous dryer in a negative pressure state. The materials are evenly added to the dryer through the continuous locking device for drying operations. The dried materials are discharged from the outlet at the bottom of the dryer. The moisture escaping from the material is recovered through the condenser and solvent receiving tank, and the entire operation is performed under negative pressure.
